How do I stop constant throat clearing?

Here are some things you can try at home:

  1. Elevate the head of your bed 30 degree or more.
  2. Avoid eating or drinking within three hours of lying down.
  3. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.
  4. Avoid spicy, fatty, and acidic foods.
  5. Follow a Mediterranean diet, which may be as effective as medication to resolve LPR symptoms.
  6. Lose weight.

Why won’t the mucus in my throat go away?
