What is the original question?

An original question is one that shows you have tried to connect different ideas, and perhaps have found a conflict. You ask a question in the hope that this conflict will be resolved, so that you may continue your original train of thought.

Claim
Claim: A statement or conclusion that answers the original question/problem. A justification that connects the evidence to the claim.

Why can’t I see Quora questions?

You can’t see details because they’re in the comments section that many of us never go to, or they simply don’t exist for the question at all. I guess Quora wanted a “clean look”, but to be honest it’s annoying and not helpful and causes more confusion.

What does it mean to start a research question with why?

Starting with “why” often means that your question is not focused enough: there are too many possible answers and no clear starting point for research. By targeting just one aspect of the problem and using more specific terms, the second question offers a clear path to finding an answer.

Why do people not ask questions about strategy?

Often, executives avoid questions they are not sure how to answer. Or leaders and employees may feel that it’s just not the right time to be asking them, perhaps rationalizing that the CEO has been at the helm of the company for a year or more and a strategy is already in place.
